Before The Chaos (1/13)

3 minutes to dominate your week

Good morning from close friends Brett Hobbs and Michael Barone. We are here every Monday morning to help prepare you Before The Chaos! Refer a friend at the bottom of the letter to win a T-Shirt!

Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the California wildfires.

Be forgiving.

Being forgiving is not always an easy task.

However, it can lead to many improvements in our life. It can strengthen the relationships we have with others, improve our mental health, and lead to significant personal growth.

Forgiving others requires empathy, compassion, and self-reflection. Everyone is human and makes mistakes. Life is short. We can’t let the burden of holding onto resentment towards others hinder our everyday lives. There is no love without forgiveness and there is no forgiveness without love.

Reflection

“What am I holding onto right now and how is it affecting me?”

“Have I ever made a similar mistake or hurt someone in a comparable way?”

Your Weekly Healthy Habit

Think about a time in which you find yourself not being forgiving.

One Achievable Goal

Set one goal that must be completed before week’s end.

Ours is to donate $10 to the wildfire relief efforts.

VERSE

Colossians 3:13

“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

Closing

Let go of the things that are causing you to be resentful. Part of the human experience is being able to relate to others. Make an effort to forgive those who once hurt you.
