Before The Chaos (10/6)

3 minutes to dominate your week

Good morning from close friends Brett Hobbs and Michael Barone. We are here every Monday morning to help prepare you Before The Chaos!

Happy Birthday to our co-author Michael Barone today!

Turning off changes everything.

Most of the time, your brain’s running nonstop. Emails, texts, calls - constant stressors that keep your mind on go.

When you actually shut it down - no phone, no scrolling, no overthinking - that’s when you really reset. Those few moments when you let your mind go quiet are worth more than hours of half rest.

The best ideas, the best energy appears when your mind is functioning on all cylinders. This is the recipe for happiness and success.

Reflection

“What’s one pocket of time this week I can completely turn my mind off?”

“How different would my days feel if I treated mental rest as seriously as physical work?”

Take Action Task

Once you finish reading this, power down for just 2 minutes. Sit, close your eyes, breathe deeply, and see the good that comes from it.

One Achievable Goal

Set one goal that must be completed before week’s end.

Put 20 min into that one “thing” you have been wanting to do. Whether its a business idea, writing a book, researching a potential vacation.

VERSE

Matthew 11:28

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Closing

Turning off isn’t lazy - it’s necessary. The quiet makes you sharper. The rest makes you stronger. And when your mind’s clear, you show up better in everything else.

Have a blessed day,

Brett & Michael
