Before The Chaos (12/1)
3 minutes to dominate your week
Good morning from close friends Brett Hobbs and Michael Barone. We are here every Monday morning to help prepare you Before The Chaos!
!!!NEW SEGMENT ALERT!!!
We are starting a new segment on Wednesday’s and we need your help. We want to give our audience the microphone and the opportunity to share your own life lessons/experiences. Something short, thoughtful, and sweet. This will be sent out to our 2,500 subscribers on Wednesday mornings. If you are interested, please respond to this email letting us know that you are in! Thank you!!

Pause and recalibrate.
As the year winds down, this is the moment to pause and honestly reflect on who you were in the last 12 months and who you want to become in the next 12.
Not in a rushed, New Year’s resolution way. In a deliberate, methodical, ownership driven way. Now look at 2025 for what it truly was. Where did you grow? Where did you struggle? What habits carried you forward and which ones held you back?
Reflection is only useful if it informs direction. 2026 is a clean slate, and you get to decide if it becomes a repeat or a big step forward.
Reflection
“What were the three decisions or habits that impacted my life the most this year?”
“What do I want 2026 to look like, and what has to change on January 1st for that to be possible?”
Take Action Task
Write down three non-negotiables for 2026. Behaviors or standards you’ll hold yourself to no matter what. Make them clear and realistic.
Act of Altruism
Reach out to someone who played a positive role in your life this year.
Tell them exactly how they impacted you.
VERSE
Isaiah 43:19
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
Closing
A new year is momentum. The clearer your vision, the simpler your decisions become.
You don’t need a perfect plan for 2026. You just need honesty about where you are, where you want to go, and the steps it will take to get there.
