Before The Chaos (7/28)

3 minutes to dominate your week

Good morning from close friends Brett Hobbs and Michael Barone. We are here every Monday morning to help prepare you Before The Chaos!

Stay positive.

One of the greatest skills we can have in life is the ability to stay happy, despite the absence of reasoning to do so.

There’s someone right now who has it a lot worse than us, who considers themselves happier. Everything is relative to our own perception.

Aren’t there things that you have right now that you dreamed of having 5 or 10 years ago? We always move on to the next thing we want, and we forget about the things we already have.

Reflection

“How often do I still acknowledge the things I have that I wanted years ago?”

“If I can be in a bad mood for no reason, how can I be in a good mood for no reason?”

Take Action Task

Write down or type one thing that you have right now, that you wanted in the past.

One Achievable Goal

Set one goal that must be completed before week’s end.

Ours is to create a list of things that made us happy this week and review it on Sunday.

VERSE

Proverbs 17:22

“A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”

Closing

If there’s always a reason to be upset, then there’s always a reason to be happy. It’s all about our perception. What good is served if you view life through a lens that isn’t positive?

Have a blessed day,

Brett & Michael
