Before The Chaos (9/8)

3 minutes to dominate your week

Good morning from close friends Brett Hobbs and Michael Barone. We are here every Monday morning to help prepare you Before The Chaos!

Congratulations to Brett, who married the love of his life, Stella, this past weekend.

To new beginnings.

All things in life are cyclical. Whether is relationships, work, or health - highs and lows are inevitable. It is important to remember that at any moment in life, we all have the inherent human right to start over, to move, to take a step back, to upgrade, to ease your stress in whatever way works for you.

One of the most liberating feelings is realizing you can start fresh - without regret for the past, but with gratitude for it. Your past experiences shaped who you are and fueled your growth.

Reflection

“Do I need to start new, or am I happy where I am?”

“How can I learn to appreciate all past experiences in my life?”

Take Action Task

Think of something that is completed, done, but still worrying you. Write it down on a piece of paper cross it out, and throw it in the trash. Acknowledge that what is done is done. Grow from it.

One Achievable Goal

Set one goal that must be completed before week’s end.

Tell someone new that you appreciate them. Give them a compliment.

VERSE

Isaiah 65:17

“See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.”

Closing

Remember - we all have the ability to begin again. When you reach a tipping point, step back, take hold of your situation, and free yourself from unwanted pain. It’s your God given right.
