Before The Chaos (9/24)

3 minutes to dominate your week

Good morning from close friends Brett Hobbs and Michael Barone. Over the past year, we have incorporated a few simple techniques into our lives that have positively impacted our health, relationships, and careers. Although we are not experts, we thought we would share what has helped us so much, with you. Keep an eye out for our (future) Monday morning letter to help prepare you Before The Chaos. Please share!

Through the Nose, Out the Mouth

Close your eyes and take 30 seconds to think about the ones you love - deceased and alive. These are the ones that you continue fighting for.

Confidence Dose

You are one of one. There is no one else like you except for you, and that is why we need you. That is why we love you. That is why we fear you.

Reflection

“I am worth of love and kindness even when I struggle or mess up. My self-worth is not defined by what others think of me”

“I am determined to succeed. I believe in myself and my dreams.”

Your Weekly Healthy Habit

At LEAST 15 push-ups before every shower (knee’s down acceptable).

It starts with the little things, just get it done.

One Achievable Goal

Set one goal that must be completed before week’s end.

Examples:

  • Call your Mom and tell her you love her

  • Buy your significant other flowers

  • Pray for someone who is sick or struggling

Email us back the goal that you intend to achieve. Hold yourself accountable. People are more likely to achieve their goals when they tell others.

VERSE

Galatians 6:9

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

Closing

Now say this to yourself: “Do it now, do it now, do it now.”

What are you waiting for? Where’s your sense of urgency? Don’t procrastinate. Do what you said you were going to do.
